Tayler and Andrew were my last couple of the wedding season the year they got married, and being able to capture their wedding took me to a place of ease. When I met them both I felt I could peel back the layers of being a business owner and just be creative!
They both helped me remember why I serve in a role as a photographer, and they made it incredibly easy to capture their day. I finally got to be there with them and take each moment that can be lost in the rush of a wedding day.
Yes, your wedding vendors feel the rush of your wedding day, too.
Since Tayler and Andrew are first responders- one in law enforcement and the other a firefighter made me feel like all the work started to pay off and I was finding my people.
As a police wife, the police lifestyle is different than most. Often a first responder spouse brings home things that most people won’t have to cope with and that can in turn cause harm and trauma to the family. Being among Tayler and Andrew helped me ground into the earth and remember that being a photographer brings positivity. Being among people on their proudest and happiest day is an honor and one that can be deeply felt years after their wedding.
There is power in joy and new beginnings and sharing that with Tayler and Andrew was something I will never forget.
I mean how could you forget the lasting impact of hanging out with a powerhouse couple and a bunch of longhorns?
